On February 16, 2016 severe thunderstorms passed over Broward County generating winds in excess of fifty (50) miles per hour and heavy rainfall.  Our client’s home sustained water damage as a result of the storm when wind driven rain entered the property causing damage.  Our client submitted a claim to the insurance company, which denied the claim citing multiple policy exclusions.  After a three day trial the case was submitted to the jury which found that the claim was covered and a verdict was entered in favor of our client.  After the verdict was entered, the insurance company agreed to pay our client’s claim.
