About Candlelighters
Candlelighters of Brevard, Inc. is a non-profit organization that StrubleCohen is passionate about. Candlelighters offers emotional support and financial assistance to children with cancer and their families in Brevard and Indian River counties. Candlelighter Family Events are designed to engage, inspire and heal the entire family unit during treatment or up to 2 years from the date of their final treatment. Family engagement events allow families to interact privately, form meaningful relationships and inspire their children to fight pediatric cancer with the support of other children in our community.
StrubleCohen and the Candlelighters Carnival
The Firm has been a supporter of Candlelighters for years, and Christine Cohen serves as a board member as well as the Candlelighters Family Carnival Event Chair. On April 22, 2023, StrubleCohen hosted the first annual Candlelighters Carnival, which included carnival-inspired rides, games, prizes and food. 100 Candlelighters Family Members joined the event, and in addition to covering all costs and making an initial donation of $20,000, StrubleCohen created a campaign for others interested in making a contribution to Candlelighters of Brevard, Inc where the Firm raised $53,552 in total contributions beyond the costs of the Carnival. We hope the Candlelighters Carnival will be an annual family event for years to come.Do you want to contribute to this year’s Carnival and make a donation to Candlelighters of Brevard, Inc.? 100% of the fundraiser proceeds received will be donated to Candlelighters at the Carnival.
